Going Rogue!

I'm going rogue! I took a little break from the projects, but I still wanted to really cut down on my stash. I had a trip coming up so I needed some mindless plane knitting. I picked a giant skein of pretty acrylic and decided to find out how many baby hats I could knit from it. Turns out 5. I might have been able to get one more premie hat out of it, but I had enough at 5 :)

Another Cake Shawl Update

I gave this one to my mother-in-law. I ended up taking out the yellow from the cake because it didn’t really feel like her. I’m happy with how it turned out and I think she was too! More photos on my project page.

I happen to have some of these Caron cakes in my stash due to a week moment and a great sale at Michaels! But, you don't need a cake to make the shawl, this could be a good opportunity to use up some leftovers to create something lovely and warm for those cool Spring days that are on their way!
